NSS Camp 2026

NSS Camp 2026

A Story of 7 Days That Changed More Than Just Places… 🌿

It began with a simple intention — to serve. But what unfolded over the next seven days was something far greater. 💚In the quiet corners of Kadachikkunnu Tribal Colony, an old Anganwadi stood waiting… its walls faded, its surroundings forgotten. Then came a group of determined hearts — Aster Volunteers and NSS students — carrying not just paint and tools, but hope. 🎨With every brushstroke, the walls came alive. With every sweep, the streets grew cleaner. With every step, a stronger bond with the community was built. 🤝From cleaning drives in Kadachikkunnu and Nambikunnu to spreading awareness in Nambikolly, the camp became a movement of change.A medical camp brought care closer to those in need, while gardening initiatives planted seeds not just in the soil, but in minds — seeds of sustainability and growth. 🌱

What made this journey truly special wasn’t just the work…

It was the people behind it.

The constant guidance of visionary leaders, the inspiring leadership of Prof. Lida Antony, and the unwavering dedication of Ms. Vineetha K., NSS Programme Officer, Wayanad District NSS Coordinator (KUHS), along with Assistant Programme Officers Ms. Maria Lisa Sebastian, Ms. Divya K., Ms. Liji John (Lecturer), and Student Secretary Mr. Shahin Muhammed, Mr. Noushad K, BD Manager shaped this initiative into something truly meaningful. 🙏

And at the heart of it all were the student volunteers — the true changemakers — who proved that when passion meets purpose, impact is inevitable.

This wasn’t just a camp.

It was a reminder…

👉 That change begins with small actions

👉 That communities grow stronger when we stand together

👉 And that even 7 days can leave a lifelong impact

🌍 Because service isn’t just an activity… it’s a responsibility.
